ITAR
Machine Research is a registered entity with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) under the Defense Directorate organization. All of our customer proprietary files are uploaded, stored and processed in an encrypted state within the AWS GovCloud region, which is ITAR compliant and registered.
AWS GovCloud
Machine Research is hosted on AWS GovCloud – an infrastructure designed to meet the stringent compliance requirements set by the U.S. Government. It provides a secure environment for processing, storing, and transmitting sensitive data, ensuring that government contractors can operate within a highly regulated framework.
CMMC
CMMC is a new and evolving standard underway to meet the Department of Defense’s cybersecurity requirements to ensure controlled unclassified information (CUI) is secure. It is expected to begin enforcement in 2026. Machine Research 100% CMMC 2.0 Level 2 compliant.
FedRAMP
All Machine Research software products are hosted using the FedRAMP certified services of Amazon Web Services AWS. Our entire application as well as our backend data and file storage services utilize AWS regions that have been FedRAMP certified.
SOC 2
The SOC 2 framework is designed to help Machine Research as a software vendor demonstrate the security controls they use to protect customer data in the cloud. The AWS regions and resources used for the Machine Research product are fully SOC 2 compliant.
